Who these terms are with
Katch is operated by Katch Entertainment, Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation at 160 Avila St, San Francisco, CA 94123. "We" and "us" mean that company. "You" means whoever is using the site or placing an order.
Using katch.ai or ordering from us means you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older to order.
What we sell

Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. We can change prices at any time, but never for an order already placed.
Payment
You are charged once, at checkout, through Stripe. Nothing is charged before that point. There is no subscription and no recurring billing.
Delivery is typically within 24 hours, though we can't guarantee it. If something runs long we'll tell you.
What you own
Your finished Song or Read is yours to keep. Play it, share it, post it, give it as a gift. What you told us about your life is yours and always was.
You can't sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit the Song or the Read. Those rights stay with us, along with the site, our name and marks, our methods, and the systems that make the work.
We won't publish your work. If we'd like to feature something as an example, we ask the person it's about first.
Refunds
Every order is written from scratch for one person, and work begins right away, so orders are final.
- If we have technical difficulties that prevent us from delivering your order, we will refund you. Immediately, as soon as we know. You don't have to ask for it.
We don't refund based on how the finished work landed. A Song or a Read is built from what you give us. If it's delivered as ordered, the order is complete.
Refunds return to the original payment method through Stripe. Write to hello@katch.ai.
Katch is entertainment
A Read is a piece of writing about you. The astrology add-on interprets your birth placements alongside it. Both are made for enjoyment and reflection. Please don't treat either as a psychological assessment, as medical or mental health advice, as a prediction of the future, or as a basis for financial, legal, or personal decisions.
Acceptable use
When you order, you're confirming that what you tell us is yours to tell, and that you're not ordering about someone in order to harass, impersonate, or embarrass them.
Don't interfere with how the site runs or use Katch for anything unlawful. We can decline or cancel an order that breaks these terms, and we'll refund it when we do.
Privacy
How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Liability
Except where the law doesn't allow us to limit it, the site and the work are provided as they are, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under law that can't be waived. If you're a consumer, you keep every right your local consumer law gives you.
Disputes
Write to us first at hello@katch.ai. Most things resolve in an email.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws rules, and any dispute we can't resolve directly will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California. If you're a consumer outside the US, this doesn't remove your right to bring a claim where you live.
Changes
We update the date at the top when these change. Changes apply only to orders placed after they take effect.
